The story of a photographer
Growing up in a musical family, I discovered very quickly the power and the importance of art. I was brought up with a really good understanding of enjoying the art form you were gifted with.
Believe it or not, I was not gifted with photography. I worked hard to get to where I am now and I'm proud of how far I've come. I'm proud of finishing school in one of the hardest and greatest years of my life. And I'm proud that I have the privilege of sharing my passion with all of you.
I attended school for photography in 2021 right in the midst of covid. Once I finished my program, I took a step back to take a second and reevaluate why I chose photography over anything else I could've done. It came to me pretty quickly that it's because I love to tell stories in any way I can. I love to capture moments between people and their loved ones. I love to capture people loving themselves or reminding them how beautiful they are. I believe that photography has a lot of power to keep things alive and to bring joy to anyone who needs it.
As a lifestyle and documentary photographer I aim to capture true and honest moments between people. I work by giving prompts and letting the people in front of the camera use that any way they chose. I find that capturing the candid moments always make the best memories to look back on.
